Money flows up the pyramid
Everyone starts at the bottom. You climb by serving more people better — and distribution decides how far you go.
Picture the economy as a pyramid. Most people are near the base — the many. A few are near the top — the Elon Musks of the world. And money, the way it always has, flows upward.
That can sound cynical. It isn't, and I don't mean it that way. Money flows up to whoever gives real value to the most people. The person at the top isn't taking from the base — they're serving a huge number of people something those people actually want. The size of the service is the size of the climb.
I'm on that pyramid too, trying to move up like everyone else. Here's the part I think most people miss about how.
It isn't the product
Building used to be the hard part. It isn't anymore — AI made it cheap, for me and for you. What's still hard, and still scarce, is reach: getting your work in front of the people who need it. Distribution is the real lever. It decides how far up you go, more than the product ever will.
You climb by serving, not by taking
The way up is not to squeeze more out of each person. It's to be useful to more of them. That's a kinder game than it sounds, and a more honest one — you win by being genuinely worth paying for, at scale.
TraderFunder is my clearest example. I built it to give traders a bigger account and a fair shot at proving themselves — something a lot of people want and can't easily reach on their own. It works because it serves many of them well, not because anyone loses. That's the whole point: find something the base genuinely needs, and deliver it to as many as you can.
The top is GET
Near the top of the pyramid is the freedom I actually care about — geographic, economic, and time freedom. You don't get there by clever positioning or by looking down on anyone. You get there by owning distribution and pointing it at something real.
Serve more people, better. The climb takes care of itself.
