Hey, properly this time

I'm not special. I just kept going

26 years in business, a few companies built and sold, and a stretch where selling one for millions actually left me more financially stressed, not less. Everything I share comes from doing it the hard way first — so you don't have to.

Robert Billing on the Brooklyn Bridge, New York

I live in Mallorca with my wife Sandra and our two sons, Nicholas and Dominic. We moved here in 2016 — that move only became possible because of the thing I now call GET: geographic, economic and time freedom.

I started out the way a lot of people do: building businesses, hiring teams, carrying offices and payroll. I sold a company for millions and assumed that was the finish line. It wasn't. Cash-flow I'd traded away turned into a pile of money that didn't pay the bills, and I learned — expensively — that an exit is not the same as freedom.

So I rebuilt, deliberately smaller and lighter. Today I trade my own capital, build AI-driven companies that run without a big team, and share the whole thing publicly — the wins, the losses, and what I'd do differently. No office. No hype. Just systems that give me my time back.

That's the real reason this site exists: to hand you the parts that took me decades to figure out, so your climb is a little shorter than mine.
